Community Involvement

We work with local organisations and individuals in Glasgow to teach people techniques which will improve health and well-being and help unfold people’s potential. We love to reach out and find ways to expand our involvement in the Glasgow community further.

We work under the Scotland wide charity Invinsible Scotland Trust (SC013238), and also alongside the David Lynch Foundation UK (1146643) to support marginalised and disadvantaged groups in Glasgow with scholarships for our events and TM courses.

The evidence-based technique of Transcendental Mediation is the meditation of our choice for people who are struggling with mental health and wellbeing. It’s a simple technique which gives the mind and body profound rest, it enlivens the body’s own inner intelligence thereby allowing the body to rebalance itself naturally.

By enabling people to harness their own inner potential in this way, individuals are able to heal and have greater agency over their lives. We work specifically with:

What’s on offer?

We offer a range of workshops, courses and events that we can provide at your  workplace, school, or perhaps a local community group you are part of. We tailor each session specifically to your needs. Examples of workshops we’ve held in the past include:

  • Transcendental Meditation Courses – Learn TM in 4 session over 4 consecutive days. It’s a simple, natural and effortless evidence-based technique and is practiced twice a day. The TM technique has the potential to transform all areas of your life: mental and physical health, sleep, relationship, cognitive function, self-actualisation, and much more. 
  • Relaxation sessions – Breathing exercises and yoga postures to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve sleep
  • Health workshops – Simple diet and lifestyle tips based on the knowledge of Maharishi AyurVeda to teach you how to recognise when you’re going out of balance and to bring it back by making small and practical changes
  • Maharishi Aroma Therapy workshops to use aromas to balance and heal
