In case you hadn’t heard yet, Sarah is doing the Kiltwalk this year, walking from Glasgow to Loch Lomond to raise money for David Lynch Foundation UK projects in Glasgow – do sponsor her if you can! The link is here.
If you’d like to read more about the work we’re doing, there was a great article about it in the Scotsman recently featured on our Blog here, or you can watch this video.
Because she’s going to be rather lonely on her walk, we thought we’d go and meet her at the end and tell her how wonderful she is, and go for a wee walk up Conic Hill while we wait for her to arrive.
If you’ll be joining us, then join the WhatsApp group here, where we’ll co-ordinate everything on the day.
The plan:
Meet at the Conic Hill Car Park at 10.30am. See location on Google Maps here.
We’ll walk up Conic Hill, have a wee bite to eat at the top (bring a packed lunch), walk down and then head to Balloch for when she finishes around 2pm.
Getting there:
If you need a lift, OR if you have a car and can give people a lift from Glasgow, then let us know.
Things to bring:
- Packed lunch
- Walking shoes (or trainers will be fine as long as it’s dry – Conic Hill is a well worn path)
- Warm clothes
- Waterproofs
- Water bottle
- Your sense of adventure
